After the withdrawal of Serena Williams, Elena Dementieva is the only Top-10 to compete at the indoor tournament in Paris. Her main opponents on the way to the title will be WTA #12 Flavia Pennetta and WTA #15 Yanina Wickmayer, although Italian Francesca Schiavone, French Aravane Rezai and Virginie Razzano and Israeli Shahar Peer should be also taken into account.

Pattaya (THA), International, $220,000
Vera Zvonareva and Sabine Lisicki are the top seeds and big favourites for the title in this International event in Thailand. Vera Dushevina, Sania Mirza, Yaroslava Shvedova, Sybille Bammer, Kimiko Date and Anna Chakvetadze are also among the candidates, while home crowd will cheer for local player Tamarine Tanasugarn.
